WORKSHOP ACCOUNTS FOR EXTENSION EDUCATORS – FISCAL
AND ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
It’s been a full year since we implemented “Workshop
Accounts for Extension Educators – Fiscal and Administrative
Management.” From conversations, this appears to still be
an unknown opportunity to some of you. If that is the case, I’d
encourage you to review the videostream
on the Video
Unit Web site.
The presenters are Mary Hoffman and Detlef Decker. Mary will describe
the specifics of accounts intended for workshop fees. We will define
the difference between workshops and large scale conferences and
therefore, how the workshop accounts differ from conferences. She
will be joined by Detlef Decker, Extension Meeting Management +
Program Support. He will share important tips for planning a successful
workshop. Detlef, drawing from his years of experience in conference
administration, will also highlight some common financial pitfalls
and items that may catch an auditor’s eye.
The handouts
for the training, including the PowerPoint slides,
must be downloaded.
- Workshop Accounts - Administrative Guidelines
- Workshop Accounts - Roles and Responsibilities
- Workshop Accounts - Request Form
- Workshop Accounts - Agreement Certification Form
- Workshop Accounts - Budget Close Out Form
- Power Point Presentation for Workshop Account Training
