The WSU Extension Professional Development Program is designed to support and guide Extension employees' personal and professional growth through training and development.
The type of information located in this site includes an assortment of opportunities to use in planning your professional development. Sections of the web site share the underpinnings of the Professional Development system. There is specific information for new employees and county directors, as well as for those who have been a part of Extension for a long time.
Please take time to read and understand the processes and meaning behind the WSU Extension Core Competencies. Check the various calendars for opportunities that you can access regarding your professional development. Please assist with this process by giving suggestions and asking questions through the PD Blog. Remember this program is a service to you -- the faculty and staff of WSU Extension. We are here to help you become the best that you can be through your own development.
