Dr. Dale Moore - Director, Veterinary Medicine Extension
Dr. Moore is a preventive veterinary medicine specialist with the College of Veterinary Medicine at WSU. Her extension program is devoted to agricultural animal health and well-being. Her focus is on disease prevention on farms and ranches. She serves as one of the Washington state's Beef Quality Assurance coordinators, education specialist to the USDA “Calf Science” project, and the developer of the Dairy Beef website. Current research activities include alternatives to antibiotic use in calf-rearing and validating biosecurity recommendations on dairy farms to prevent foreign animal disease as well as endemic diseases.
