William Freitas
William Freitas came all the way across the United States from Florida and the international medical field to join Skagit County Extension as their 4-H Educator in August of 2007. He is able to put his MS in leadership education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to excellent use in his new position working to better youth development opportunities throughout Skagit County. Similarly, William has built on his BA in theology from Andrews University in Michigan by exploring the concept of servant-leadership and how to integrate it into leadership training.
Outside of work William enjoys outdoor activities, reading biographies, and traveling to exotic and historic places. He was born in Ituiutaba, Brazil.
