Charging for Satellite Downlink Use

If other agencies or groups are allowed to use the local satellite downlink, each county may charge an amount determined at the county level for incidental costs associated with the use of the site. The money recovered may be used to hire personnel to open the facility, tune the satellite and TV set, start the VCR if recording is requested, turn off all equipment and lock up the room after the viewing. A charge may be made for videotape if it is not provided by the requester. The office may place the additional income over that which is needed to pay this person into a reserve account to pay the expenses of maintenance and repair.
