Leave Reports
Within
three months following an employee's return to the university
fromv professional leave, unless special provisions are made,
the employee must submit a detailed written report to the Dean
and Director of Extension and to the Dean of the employee's college
who will submit it to the Provost. Copies should be given to
the department chair or district director. The report should
summarize the work completed during the leave, with specific
reference to the earlier leave plans, the way in which the new
knowledge will be utilized in continuing institutional responsibilities
and any other benefits to Extension and the university as a result
of the leave.
Professional
leave guidelines are distributed and placed on a CAHNRS Web site
by the dean's office each year in the early fall.
