Topics in today's issue of Extension Update:
2007 Best of Puget Sound: The best of Times
The New Year begins with the year in review and an opportunity to make the “Best of” lists. I’m thrilled to see the December 23 issue of the Seattle Times included a list of the men, women and institutions that have made this region a better place in which to live. This list is the basis for The Seattle Times Editorial staff's annual "Best of" recognitions.
Congratulations to Don Meehan, Island County Extension, for being named Best of Puget Sound! For the full story see the Seattle Times: http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/opinion/2004086763_bestof23.html

Planks will be categorized in eight areas: education, immigration, election reform, environment, health care, energy, security & safety and economy and presented at the end of the broadcast. County candidates will be introduced for the first time highlighting the beginning of their campaign.
