WASHINGTON WELLNESS WORK
Washington Wellness Works is a statewide initiative aimed at improving the health of Washington’s employees, retirees, and their families. Take the first step in making healthier lifestyle choices by participating in an online Health Risk Assessment (HRA).
An HRA is a simple questionnaire asking you questions about your health habits including diet, exercise, and preventive-care screenings you’ve had. You’ll receive immediate feedback based on your answers. In many cases, your health plan or health provider will offer programs designed to help you deal with whatever health challenges the HRA may have revealed.
5.7% of WSU employees have already taken the HRA. The target completion rate for each State agency is 30%.
Visit www.wellness.wa.gov to begin your HRA and to learn more about Washington Wellness Works. Together we can make Washington the healthiest state in the nation! Source: Human Resource Services, hrs@wsu.edu
WECN BEST PRACTICES
Extension Communications and Educational Support has developed a WECN Best Practices to help everyone be better prepared and conduct more successful meetings over the WECN Videoconference Network. This guide can be found on the WECN website at http://wecn.wsu.edu, located near the bottom of the page under the WECN logo. It is a downloadable PDF document. Our thanks to Randy Cross, Scott Fedale and Tony Wright for developing this great tool.
