Topics in today's issue of Extension Update:
VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT TRAINING
The 4-H Core Training that is being held on Thursday, October 18th in Pasco has much broader application for faculty and staff than just those involved in 4-H Youth Development programs. The topics for the day
include:
1. Risky Business - Practical Risk Management for County programs.
2. Let Someone Else to the Work - This session will deal with
volunteer management. How to keep program educational and safe through the work of volunteers.
These topics are applicable to all of volunteer based programs of WSU Extension. The training is open to any Extension educator and starts at 10:00 am at the Pasco Holiday Inn Express's Lemberger room and will end at 5:00 pm. Lunch will be provided.
To attend, please preregister for the training with Kevin Wright at wirghtkc@wsu.edu by October 16th.
WSU PRESIDENT'S FORUM
President Elson S. Floyd will be conducting a series of faculty forums in the upcoming months. Dates and details are listed below:
