EEAW Annual Conference: Environmental Education in a Changing World
The Environmental Education Association of Washington (EEAW) invites your participation in our 14th anniversary conference, November 7 -10, 2007, in Seattle, WA. With a focus on “Reinventing Green: Environmental Education in a Changing World,” the conference will draw a diverse group of more than 300 educators, students, government officials, and non-profit and business leaders from across the state. The following information is now posted at www.eeaw.org/conference. Call for Presenter's Submission Form (deadline, July 13, 2007)

4-H TEEN CONFERENCE COMES TO CAMPUS
On Sunday, June 24, over 100 youth and chaperones will come to the Pullman campus for the State 4-H Teen Conference. Monday youth will participate in workshops like: What’s In a Budget, An Inside Look at College Life, CPR Certification, Livestock Projects, Sites & Sounds of Physics, and See the Periodic Table React. Linda Criddle, a popular online child safety expert will be the featured speaker and the afternoon concludes with service learning projects. Kim Kidwell and Linda Fox will be special guests at the etiquette banquet dinner Monday evening at the Quality Inn. The conference concludes on Tuesday with a fantastic multi-media presentation, college fair, and campus tours. Susan Butts is conference manager.
TEACH * LEARN * CONNECT: DISTANCE TEACHING AND LEARNING
23rd Annual Conference on Distance Teaching and Learning will be held at the Monona Terrace Convention Center, Madison, Wisconsin, August 8-10, 2007. Join your colleagues at this international conference on distance education and training. Select from more than 140 workshops, roundtable discussions, course showcases, forums, and concurrent sessions that examine a wide range of practical applications, teaching strategies, best practices, and design solutions. This program draws more than 1,000 participants every year from experienced professionals to newcomers in the field who come to learn from their peers and network with industry leaders about distance learning resources, products, and services available. Keynote speakers featured this year: Dr. Mark Milliron, Dr. Darcy Walsh Hardy, and Dr. Chris Dede. Register by July 16 to receive the regular conference fee.
