ED Adams to Become Spokane County
Director
Ed Adams will assume responsibilities as County Director
in Spokane County on August 1. He will succeed Jim Lindstrom, who
is vacating the Spokane County Director position to become Director
of Professional Development for WSU Extension. Ed joined WSU Extension
in 1983 and has served in a variety of capacities, including Extension
Educator in agronomy and weed science (1983-1990), Interim Chair
of Spokane County Extension (1988-1989), Extension Water Quality
Coordinator for Eastern Washington (1990-1994), Extension Advisor--Polish
American Extension Program with United States Department of Agriculture
(1994), Interim NE District Director (1995-1996), Extension Plant
Pathology Specialist (1996-1999), Statewide Extension Agriculture
and Natural Resources Program Director (1999-2004), Interim Associate
Dean and Associate Director (2004-2006), and Director of Agriculture
Programs (2004-2006).
Please join us in welcoming Ed to this important new position.
We know that he will help continue the tradition of innovation and
dynamic programming in Spokane County.
