FEDERAL ANNUAL REPORT AND PLAN OF WORK UPDATE
This
week, April 1st, WSU Extension submitted our Annual Report of
Accomplishments
and the Plan of Work Update 2005-2007 to USDA
Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service (CSREES).
Both of these documents will be posted on our Web
site Overview page.
MS EXCHANGE
CAHNRS and Extension are switching to MS Exchange servers and
the improved and more efficient operations it will provide for
email and intergrated calendaring. Not to mention to dollar savings
we will net. In the meantime, many of you, me included, are learning
new email software Outlook. With it comes a steep learning curve.
This is my first Extension Update sent via Outlook. I hope it arrives
to you in good form, but feel free to let me know if my emails
to you are not quite right over the next couple of weeks! I would
welcome any helpful tips for skillful users of Outlook. Thanks
to Tony Wright everyone in the CAHNRS Information Department, Computer
Resources for the many long hours they are putting in to transfer
us over to MS Exchange.
SCHEDULE
Next week Mike will be in Washington DC. Linda will be in Pullman.
