CE LOGO ITEMS BEING DISTRIBUTED
The
newest shipment of orders for Cooperative Extension marketing items
has been shipped today, Friday, August 2nd. However, the people who
ordered steel travel coffee mugs won't be receiving their orders until
we receive those so that everything can be shipped at one time. Sorry
for the inconvenience. If you have questions about your order, contact
Christy Fitzgerald.
BUDGET
RENTAL - WSU CONTRACT UPDATE
Budget Rental has filed under Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Chapter
11 does not mean liquidation or "going out of business."
Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code allows companies to restructure
their debts and to continue normal operations.
Budget
values WSU as a customer and wants to assure us that it will continue
to provide WSU travelers with the same high quality service. Throughout
this process, it is important that you are aware of the following:

There should be no change in normal day-to-day operations and
no impact on the customers. Budget will contInue to operate as
usual.
- Budget
should continue to have the same vehicles, locations, management
and staff to meet customers needs.
- Budget
has received a shipment of over 5000 new vehicles to meet customer
demand.
- Budget
assures us it will honor all reservations and service in the same
high-quality manner we have come to expect.
Budget
assures WSU that the Chapter 11 process will not impact Budget's
ability to service its car and truck rental customers now or in
the future.
